As a lesbian, I’ll give any show with even a hint of sapphic energy the good ol’ college try—even a mere glance or someone wearing a beanie.
But a whole gay kiss in the trailer?! A gem like that is hard to come by! So naturally, I have no choice but to find out everything about the two women involved, their backstory, the entire context of the kiss, and the director’s middle name.
In this case, I ended up watching an entire season of a generic Netflix dating show called Too Hot To Handle where insufferably horny people aren’t allowed to bang—wait, that actually sounds a lot like the queer experience—just to see one kiss. And guess what? It was absolute garbage.
